Got an XU5J head, going to give it a quick skim as part of the rebuild.

 

Unfortunately, i've already stripped the engine before i planned on what i was actually doing it.

 

So, roughly how much material would i need to remove to get the desired compression ratio of 10.5:1 to 11:1? I'm guessing its 9.8:1 as standard?

 

Replies would be greatly appreciated.
