Question For The Gearbox Experts

I am thinking I have a problem with the diff in my vts gearbox. I have a spare gti6 gearbox or a 1.6 be3 205 gearbox. Are the diffs the same ratio's etc, can they be swapped and which one would be the best to fit to be a close to the vts one?

The crownwheel is detachable from the diff, so it doesn't really matter what diff you use from a gearing point of view.

ive got a standard vts diff in the garage from when i fitted my tran x if you need one let me know

erm.. the outer gear? yes i had use that. just got the main diff

Sweet, that would still save me robbing one of my other boxes if it came to it
