Not being a member of the spelling gestpo I'm loathed to point it out but in the interests of helping doing any searches you might do it should be handy to note it's " Weber " not " Webber "

Point taken....not the greatest start to my forum 'career'

mine runs the std distributor and connections etc. All I did was fit the regulator, and the carbs, removed the ECU but left the wiring in place (I haven't a clue what goes where and what they do so chose to leave them in place under the bonnet etc) and that was it.

Thanks very much for your help.

Don't they reckon the 40's will give you more torque and the 45's a better top end?

Like baz says it's more down to the choke size I think, I've said before that I would love to try 34mm chokes on a set of 45's. The air speed must be awesome in mid range ?

Weber or Webbers i have gone of the idea and going to get more useful power on the ground with a close ratio gear box.
