8mm.

I replaced all mine two weeks ago using 5/16 - which is as close to 8mm as makes no odds.

yup, 6.5mm I.d 8mm o.d

the two lengths of hard pipe on a gti are-

1579 26 x02 FUEL FEED PIPE 6,5 X 8 - 3970 CL

the flexible return pipe from the regulator to the hard pipe is listed as 7 x 13, no data shown for the other two pieces either side of the filter.

the two rubber ones from tank to hard pipe are listed as -

1573 38 RUBBER HOSE 7X15-9X17-850

i.e different size each end, typical!

These pipes are (or were) still available from Pug earlier this year & aren't very expensive.

Just one 1579.26 is enough for both supply & return pipes afaik.

sorry to bring back an old thread. but do peugeot offer a similar product which is just the rubber lines, so i could run them in the car? i have looked at braided but they seem so expensive. found some braided covered rubber hoses on ebay much cheaper but the diameter is nothing alike. any ideas?

They are yes, ive done 4 cars with the genuine stuff. I now have a beta pipe bender which does brake pipes and up to 8mm pipe. A good investment for me.

tezza could you not just use some good decent fuel hose from gates or the likes? Normal braided fuel line is around £7 a metre for me anyway, but ive found that it can 'breath' fuel vapour inside the car causing it to be fumey. Has been known to make some rally drivers sick/ severe headache. Whats the car for road, track or rally?

You should use PTFE lined braided hose if running internal fuel lines ;)

No fumes leak through that ;)
