8v To 16v Swap Over Christmas Period

Hello, iam swapping my 8v engine for a mi16 over the christmas period after reading the link on this web site i think i have most things covered. For me the only grey area is the plumbing. does most of the 8v hoses fit or will i have to buy/source any hoses from the bx. Also from the throttle body to afm, to filter can anyone advise me what to use. Any advice would be much appreciated , Thanks, Max.

Hate to say do a search as most of the time its unhelpful, however there are some really useful diagrams around that show exactly how the hoses go and what to use. I cant really remember off hand but iirc its mostly if not all 8V hoses that i used.

Block off the bypass rail and the late 8v coolant hoses fit perfectly.

 

Breather hoses are 1.9 Mi16 specific, and the inlet pipe ideally you want a 405 Mi16 one.
