Whats the best procedure to polish my aluminium rocker cover?

Sand with a DA going from 180-1000 grit, then machine polish it with a bench grinder buffer + polishing compound paste. Finish with some Autosol 'Shine' by hand.

TU engine's use Rocker cover's and are steel, XU have Alloy cam covers 8v and 2.0 16v (S16)

I bought a set and a few things for the polishing.

Using two grinder for drill:

80 grits

220 grits

 

Tallow to keep the aluminium dust away from the grinder:

tallow

 

And the polishing set with two mops(rarely and thick sewing), 1 polishing paste, 1 shining paste
