Which Sump Pans Will Fit?

Wondering which sump pans from other peugeot engines will fit this engine. I'm trying to find a sump pan with mounting points for an AC compressor, but I've had no luck finding a 1.9 sump pan here with the appropriate mounting points. Are there any other sump pans off of other peugeot engines I can search for which will fit my 1.9 8v XU engine?

Had a seach, still no clearer. Will only a sump from another XU9JA engine fit? I need some alternatives, as XU9JA engines here appear to be scarce.

Sump from a XU7/XU10 with AC will fit fine, but you'll need to lose the spacer plate and use the XU7/XU10 bolts.

You could look at XU9s and XU10s, as well as diesels (XUD) and find the sumps designed for A/C that way.

I have had a look there. The thing is...the engine codes mean absolutely nothing to me. Unless I go to the stealer dealer and have them import one at exhorbitant prices. But perhaps, with car models in mind, I can check one or two local scrappers and see if any of those engines are being scrapped. Plus, simply checking the parts catalogue won't tell me if the sumps are direct fit, or whatever. So what cars are the XU10s and XUDs in? I'll have a search in the mean time and see if I can figure out...

XU7 = 1.8 litre XU petrol engine

XU9 = 1.9 litre XU petrol engine

XUD9 = 1.9 litre XU diesel engine

XU10 = 2.0 litre XU petrol engine

 

As for cars, most Peugeot and Citroens with those engines from the mid-late 90's should suffice - 306/405/406, ZX/Xsara/Xantia for example
