Galifrey 1 Posted November 29, 2009 Mostly 1.6 pepperpots (speedline) do as to speedline 2108's loads of room. Its the SMR's that may not fit I am led to believe. Are you fitting 1.9 brakes to a 1.6? Broken nipples?
hillbilly 3 Posted November 29, 2009 No, i have a 1.4 that i am fitting a 1.9 too. I have series 2 106 rallye steel wheels and am wondering if i can use the 1.9 brakes to keep my wheels. cheers, ryan

Baz 421 Posted November 29, 2009 Pretty sure S2 steelies house 1.9 brakes fine yes.
welshpug 1,645 Posted November 29, 2009 the original S2 106 brake caliper is quite a bulky ATE one that sits around the same offset and thickness disc as the 1.9 205, they'll house most 266mm brakes so you shouldn't have any major issues with 1.9 205 brakes I would imagine
