Seeking Standard Settings For Afm Valve?

Recommended Posts

GSXR_J

Hey guys, I have a 1989 phase 1.5 1.6 Gti and have been having a search around but cant seem to find what the standard peugeot settings are for the AFM valve. Someone told me that the screw had to be about eight turns out from fully in but no one can seem to confirm without taking it to someone with a gas analyser, meaning £££! :)

Any help most appreciated!

every engine is different, there's no way to set them without the exhaust gas tester.

Could use a colour tune to get it close. A bit old school though.

Just take it to your local mot place with a CO machine and bung them a few quid to put it on there. As above every engine is different so they require different settings on the afm. Set the CO to around 2.00, clockwise richens, anticlockwise leans.
