Livelee 0 Posted November 26, 2009 Can anyone tell me if I need 309 ARB links when fitting these arms to my 205 GTi Or can I use the 205 ones? Cheers
shalmaneser 26 Posted November 27, 2009 Don't need to do anything to the arb links. They wear fast though so check for play though, might be worth replacing them if they're worn and your down there.
Anthony 1,002 Posted November 27, 2009 Can anyone tell me if I need 309 ARB links when fitting these arms to my 205 GTi 205 and 309 GTi ARB droplinks are the same. The anti-roll bar itself is thicker on a 309 (17 vs 21mm) but most people stick with the 205 ARB.
kyepan 291 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) am i going mental or do the arms not actually link onto the drop links... have an incomplete picture in my head. no hang on, they attach onto the struts.. i guess still a valid question as the strut will be moved out a bit by the longer wishbones. mine fitted fine. swordfish210 20 Posted November 27, 2009 205 and 309 GTi ARB droplinks are the same. According to my local motorfactor though theres a £9.50 difference in the price (309 being more expensive)
