Fitting 309 Gti Seats

Recommended Posts

Galifrey

Ok, so have some 309 GTI seats I am fitting, and I know that I need to make up some plates to ensure they fit correctly, what I was wondering, has anyone made up plates that set the seat further back?

I want to increase the legroom slightly (I am 6' 5") and wanted to know if I can use the plates to set the seats further back safely.

Lan

you could try using a long piece of 4-5mm thick flatbar that runs more than the length of the seat frame and drill holes where necessary for extra adjustment

That was along the lines of the thoughts I was having, bit cautious about raising the seat height 4-5mm tho
