Ti motorsport do a poly lower engine mount for the 1400, I have one in my XS and it made a real difference when I fitted it :P

The whole car vibrated for a while but it's settled in nicely, I was that impressed I got the track control arm poly bushes too :D

Here you go! ---> http://www.timotorsport.co.uk/ti_link2.asp?link_id=12

I have low engine mount + track control bushes+ARB bushed from TI Motorsport on my basic 1.1 TU car - they worth every penny I spent on them!

I bought Ti Motorsport TCA bush kit and by comparing to Powerflex bushes they are much harder. Both are made out of polyurethane.

The rear engine mount is the same as 106, just the fork might be different, and you can buy solid one from peugeot sport.

BakerBM makes gr.N ones, and also Spoox.

This is how the 106 gr.A looks like:

Its not completely solid. It has a tiny ruber bush in the center, arround 3mm thick. Sorry, I don't have a better picture to show.

The main point of this rear engine mount is to prevent engine from excesive movement forward/backward, wich also improves gearchanging when giving it some beans. Any rubber/poly/solid type will be better than standard one.

BBM do a hard rubber GRpN type mount. I've got a set in mine and they're pretty damn good.

It would be interesting to see how that differs from my TI motorsport and BBM mounts.

Probably no difference regarding movement, just more vibrations with the "solid" one. :rolleyes:

Buy one from BM Baker. Stewart is a great guy and his stuff is really good. Probably the best one price/performance vise. :rolleyes:

Yep, phone him as ask for the TU specific mount. It's a slightly smaller diameter than the GTI one.
