im putting some xsara vts front shocks on a 205 but was just wondering if the springs are any good too? does anyone know what the ride height would be like with the vts springs? im sure they are lower than 306 springs but not sure what would happen on a 205. Has anyone tried them before?

Oops just realised theres a post about 3 down whats asking the same question ;)

Phase 1 xsara VTS springs (which happen to be the same part as ZX 16v) are said to make a 306 gti6 sit about 20mm or so lower, the 306 gti6 Eibach springs make the gti6 sit about 25-30mm lower.

never tried them myself, but would imagine the spring rate to be higher and make the car (205) sit rather high.

how much lower does the iron block engine make a 205 sit?

As per the other thread, I'd be very surprised if they didn't make a 205 sit far too high - certainly 30mm lower 306 spring make a 205 like like it's on stilts....
