I have just had an oil change with 10/40 semi syn and the car ran fine yesterday, but today will not fire up!

Does anybody have any ideas??

Thanks in advance

Can you hear the fuel pump?

Have you checked for a spark?

Is the starter turning and not firing to life?

Fuel pump has been replaced

The starter motor appears to be making a sound but not firing into life

How do I check for spark?

Forgot to say, I stripped out the rear interior of the car yesterday, is there anything I may have dislodged?

Fuel pump wiring is my guess or the wire is damaged.

Pop the bigger of the the 2 plastic covers off and check the plug is still in place

To check for a spark, take a spark plug out place it back in the ht lead and hold the plug onto an earth (block)

Just use your common sense and don't get shocked.

I'd agree, it sounds like you've dislodged the wiring for the fuel pump, as above check under the plastic disc under the back seats.

You mean as in the starter motor isn't spinning?
