Hi,

how often do you see these on our beloved 205 GTIs

were very popular back in the day mid 80s to mid 90s

anyone got a pic with one wearing some ?

Like these? They are very similar to the Mi16 wheel, although they are 15 inch.

 

There's a picture on a thread by 24/7 on here somewhere.

 

I like the mi16 wheels, I'll be refurbing some for mine.

Yup they're the ones

 

I had some 13'' on my Nova I used for road rallying from '90 to '97 - still got a bent one (!) from the Breidden (Welsh Boder CC event ) bent both offside on a fecking pothole (one got refurbed by Ian Jemison engineering in Yorkshire) - with the hosepipe wrapped around it...

These wheels were commonly found on the Group A cars, and for some reason have become very rare these days. Sykespeed have 5 for sale in Motorsport News for £250. Luckily enough, I have 8 in my garage. Bought 4 off ebay for £82 and swapped a set of compomotives for the other 4.

You don't see them for sale very often, and I'm quite sure that Revolution Wheels don't list 2 14" wheel either..

I've got them on mine. Got 15" ones lying in the garage but tyres so much cheaper for the 14s and I guess a good bit lighter too.

Do 13'' fit over the calipers ??

 

Perhaps they look so small due to skinny tyres ? 50 profile instead of 185/60 x 14 as on original 1.6.

Yes they did fit over the callipers and they were 175/50/13 RE720's
