Conrod Measurement Xu10j2te

Recommended Posts

boeseturbo

Hi friends,

can give me somebody the measurements of the stock RGX/RGY XU10J2TE engine?

I mean small-end and big-end width and diameter and CC of conrod.

Cheers

Jan

same rods as the XU10J2, don't know the other details 100%, but I believe they are 152mm long, 22mm gudgeon pin, fit a 50mm crank pin.

Hi,

hm, I read in the engine manual, the crankshaft was modificated. The offset of the conrod was modificated. It has 24,23mm width in place

of 26,13mm. bearings of conrods is also different.

I will demount a turbo-engine next week, I will do some measurements...

Cheers

24.23mm width sounds like a std rod width for cast XU crankshafts.

Should be same rods on 2.0 Mi16/S16, 2.0 8v and 2.0 8v Turbo engines apart from some will have pressed pin and some will have floating.

152mm C-C is correct, ~24mm width is correct at least.

Piston pin I'm not 100% sure about.

sorry I mean it is 26,xx insteda of 24,xx mm... It is the original peugeot-repair-manual. Yes and I think rest of the rods will be the same.

only big-end width will be bigger.

The XU10J4TE ones are 26.xx wide I agree, also the 1.9 TD XUD9TE and 2.1TD XUD11TE have the 26.xx wide rods.

The 8v turbo engine though still has the 24.xx wide rods.

Yes this measurements above are conrod measurements - length (top to the bottom) , piston pin hole dia. and big end bearing hole dia.

Do you need measurements for crankshaft as well ?

He want the width of the big end and small end of the conrod.

The big end is 24.xx mm as I already said though.

Small end I have no clue but it's the same as the 2.0 8v non turbo one.

It's very strange.

A mate of mine spun a shell and his crank in the XU10J2TE engine didn't make it.

He put a normal XU10J2 crank in it which is 24.xx mm wide journals, hence I can't really think the rods are 26mm wide.

Will see when you measure though.. ;)

yes  It will be the best way :D)) MEASURING :D)

I measured it right now.

BE is: 53,7mm (24,2mm width)

SE is: 22,0mm (19,1mm width)

CC is: 152mm

so it seems to be same rods-measurements like XU10J4 / J2 engine (only thing is, that the piston-bolt is fixed to the rod, not swimming-bearing, but I will make conrods

with swimming-bearing to fit custom forged pistons).

Thanks for you support.

Cheers
