Mi16 Ex Manifold Studs

Hi all, I'm fitting a new exhaust to my 205 mi16. I've been trying to source some manifold studs and nuts for when I inevitably snap some during removal. I've tried motor factors, pug and Citroën dealers to be told that they don't make them anymore? I have heard that you can use 406 studs which fit the mi. My question is,

 

Does anyone know which 406 variant studs will fit the mi?

 

I've tried searching the forum for an answer to no avail, I'm new to this so appologies if I've done it wrong!

have a look at the pinned topic on using Servicebox in the Misc/General Technical subforum, you'll be able to check the part numbers and prices to your hearts content in there

 

they are correct that they aren't available for the 1.9 MI16 any more, they are a 46mm long M8 stud.

 

there's a chance that the studs from the 2.0 MI16 will do the job, they are:

 

0355 54 STUD 8mm X 1.25 -30-12-20

 

or the suggested ones from a 406 could be;

 

0355 62 STUD 8mm X 1.25 -15-26

Also, I should be able to link people later today to some aircraft-quality studs which include a hex socket in the end so they can be wound in with an Allen key. They also come with a special locking nut.

 

These are used by VW tuners and probably others, so I just need to check dimensions of what's currently available, or ask the supplier for sizes suitable for us Puggers.
