Hi!

 

Can I use AFM from 1.9 Gti on my 1.6? Why and ahy not?

It fits , and it'll work , but the fueling will be a bit out .. cos 1.6 AFM has different calibration :P

Well , i wouldn't bother with the uprated spring for road/every day car :P if its for track/rally that'll be different story ..

 

Just use good quality oil and OE Purflux oil filter with regular changes .. and you'll be fine :)

You could use either, but you really should have the rest of the matching parts to go with, ie. injectors, ecu, distributor etc

I once fitted a 1900 AFM to my 1600 when I was chasing a fault, it was way out and drove terrible.
