hi has anyone got a picture showing which order the ht lleads cum of the distributer plz

Do you have a 205/405 Haynes manual?

 

You can even download the Haynes manual for free from M@tt's signature. Do a member search (top right) and you'll find him.

The lead location isn't clearly shown in the Haynes manual iirc but a search on here should definately find it, I've posted it several times before.

You haven't told us what car model and year it's for which doesn't really help, although 8v and 16v engines are pretty similar.

 

This is for an Mi16 engine:

The main point is that the firing order is 1-3-4-2. No 1 is at the flywheel end.

 

So basically you have a 25% chance of getting it right first time. If it doesn't start after 4 variations of this, then something is wrong elsewhere.

sumeone had put me leads on wrong :D aslo i had to disconnect the air flow to get it running
