going softer on the front toddy?

I have eibach on my daily car and it is ok with 550lb R & 400lb F, Miles and Sandy also champion Eibach so will accept their wisdom and, iirc Sandy mentioned that the spring rate is a rising rate from 80 -205lb so should give a better ride over the potholes which we also know as roads, and also be ok for spirited driving/on track.

CAR USE:

Engine - 2.0 8v, circa 125bhp

Use - road toy (and once on track!)

Ride height +/- 0 (but a little high at the back due to weight loss)

FRONT SETUP:

Bilstein yellow B6 struts with standard GTi springs and top mounts; standard GTi ARB, lower arms etc.

Standard 1.6 GTi bendix brakes

REAR BEAM:

Standard GTi with o/e 306 GTi-6 dampers (probs no different to o/e 205!)

TYRES + WHEELS:

195/50 r15 Hankook Ventus k110 v12 EVO (can't fault them for hard road use and despite melting tread rubber they wore evenly on track)

Tacky aftermarket 15 * 6.5" alloys

NEXT PHASE:

lower by 30mm, Eibach 7001 springs, BBM top mount rubbers, 22mm rear ARB, solid beam mounts.

Well, they're yellow struts with blue dust gaitor. The mono-tube inverted spec, but standard length (B8 are the shortened version). Bought under the understanding that they had the code "B6" through Balance Motorsport for about £160 each. "B4" were listed as the black ones (pretty much o/e spec).

I think Bilstein changed their codes/product descriptions a while back, perhaps that explains confusion?
