Having had a goosey at my haynes fuel injection manual it shows typical 55 pin layout for Motronic 1.5 Vauxhall.

Even lists the cars that have them!

I've been basing my decision on what ever ECU I can get hold of, and I have just this minute acquired a 2-row ecu, so unless I come across a 3-row between now and when the wire and plugs arrive I shall be making up a 2-row loom. But I may make up a 3-row one if my confidence is high enough afterwards! As I would love to see the difference back to back.
