205 1.6i Starter/ignition Question

Hey all

 

Since rewiring the ignition back to original (had a naff alarm and immboliser badly added in) the car has developed a strange habit of continuing to throw the starter into the flywheel even after the engine has started. Does anyone know the colour or location of the starter relay (if there is one) before i slash my hands to pieces taking the motor off to look at the solenoid......?

No relay, it is straght off the ingnition.

It sounds as if you may have crossed the ing live and starter wires.

 

Do a search and see what comes up starter problems have been covered alot.
