Gearbox Casing Question

Recommended Posts

johny105_y2k

Hi, i need another case for my gearbox (see other thread) anyway mine is A BE1 and tom fenton has kindly offered me a BE3 for some beer tokens.

what i plan to do is swap over the internals.

my question to you is

are the casings the same? the bell housing part that would be had a look on servicebox but couldn't make much sense out of it to be honest.

cheers and hopefully this will be a quick one for someone who knows.

Why swap the internals, a gearbox is like £20 surely you can find a Be1 that would be alot easier.

because miles did the box up @ £350 then the diff pinion shaft roll pin came out causing the shaft to start hitting things.

so the box internals are brand new in effect and have done 0 miles
