Removing Breather Hoses

Recommended Posts

romer

Hi guys, have used the search function but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

309 1.9GTI Phase 1.

Is it possible to tidy up under the bonnet by removing/modifying (somehow) some of the breather pipes.

There just seems to be way more than necessary - I know that won't be the case in theory otherwise Peugeot wouldn't have put them there.

But, we all know that sometimes things can be over engineered.

Has anyone removed any of this pipework and still had the car running okay - will be used for road rallies.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Many thanks

Romer

seriously though. i suppose fitting carbs would do it, and even modifying the rocker cover by fitting a filler cap.
