I would love to help you mate but these came with the old 205 when I bought it a few years back so I couldn't say where or how to get them, however I'm sure a call to say Nick at Shenpar Motorsport or ABMotorsport or even Compbrake will be able to help as these guys supply the Rose jointed wishbones which I'd have thought go hand in hand with these spacers.

Sorry I can't be anymore help

Well i can now really see the light at the end of the tunnel, the gearbox is back on with the new clutch (thanks again to Colin S for sorting so quick) just need to finish off fitting the shafts back and adjusting my wishbones to get my camber similar left to right before i get the tracking/cambers gauges on then its back on the ground to be fired up and tested.

Then all thats left to do is:

> Final Camber, Toe adjustments

> Fit new Oil Temp/Pressure and Water Temp Gauges

> Fit back slam panel and radiator cover panel

Then its ready for a damn deserved thrashing round the industrial estate then onto the roads, i will try and get some good pics and hopefully some video footage.

I will be fitting a GoPro Sports Camera in various places inside and outside the car this year so i should have many many onboard videos to post up and show you guys of all of my events. The main place it will be fitted will be in the gaop above my splitter below the valance so it will give a view about 10cm off the ground, will also do some interior footage and try for some footage from the rear facing back too.

The car will need to be brought over to the UK next year to get on the rolling road for a tweak on the ECU Map so would like to include a Hillclimb somewhere at the same weekend, possibly Gurston as Sandy has mentioned. Be good to get to meet some of you guys so hopefully we can sort something out and you can take a look at the car first hand rather than pics and videos. Just need to find a safe keeping for the car over the couple of nights as i hate the thought of leaving it on a trailer outside a hotel overnight with no security short of sleeping in the bucket seat myself

Anyways watch this space over the next few days

Can't you just padlock it to the trailer? That's what I did when I left mine out overnight.

Padlocks are easily cut and also the trailor could quite easily to yanked off the truck and taken away!!

Im just too used to the security of my little island  where nothing can get very far!!

None at all currently, Last year we had 1 visit which was a combo of Spox and Pug1off which did nothing much, Closest we get is me in the 306 which even in the std class is undergoing some nice mods due to someone in a MX5 spending a few quid on his engine

It runs some odd reg's compared to anywhere else too

Im also about 20 minutes from gurston and have plenty of storage for both the car/trailer in and around the area mate. Looking good!

Great job thanks guys! I'll have to look into licenses required to race and entry fees and possible dates!!

Car is running again now, definitely seems a little on the rich side as it's just fouled a plug and got a small misfire, need to order myself some spares I feel. Drove it round the industrial estate and damn it shifts and so responsive, need to get some time behind the wheel after I've fixed a few small glitches so I can get used to it and try and tame the thing!

Looks like i may be bringin the Rolling Road session and Gurston Visit forward by a long way for all those interested.

Looking at Rolling Road Session Saturday 16th July 20111 and entering the Gurston Down Hilcllimb on the Sunday 17th July 2011.

Not confirmed yet as i need to look into Condor costs and Hotel costs and also if i am actually allowed to enter the hillclimb as they run different classes to me ie ****cc to 2000cc so my 205 is no longer "in the same capacity class" as per the MSA Blue Book for UK events so i may have to run in a Sports Libre class whereas in Guernsey we run 1801cc & Over which means i am still in the same capacity class.

All depends on costs, best warm up the credit card!!

I should be ready in time, as long as the dampers arrive in time.

Really, I think it's cheap, But you would be in the over 2000cc Mod Saloon class with some nice bits of kit

Whats the cost in the Islands then>

Price on the island has just gone up for the 2011 season to 50quid a meeting and your looking to get 1 practise and 5 timed runs for that, now you can see why im shocked.......how many runs you normally get??

So whos coming to Guernsey for a cheap Hillclimb experince???

I will have to run in Sports Libre 2000cc and above as you cant run any 205 in the Modified Limited Production 2000cc & over as its not longer in the same capacity class as a 205 being 1.9 as std. This has been confirmed by Peter, the Comp Secretary for Gurston Down Hill. But anyway im not going to be looking for any records on my first day out at that track its just for the experience and to get the car seen and meet some of you guys hopefully.

Just 2 of each, unless it's a National A event at about £125.00 then you get 3 timed runs

You're obvioulsy spoilt Simon, thats an average price. Go to a sprint at one of the big circuits, Brands, Silverstone etc and your looking at £150-160 and 4 runs.

On another note, how does your licencing work, as to run in sports libre over 2 litre requires a national A licence unless it competes in road legal condition (tax, mot, insurance and road leagl tyres)

Ah ffs I only have a National B license, so if that's correct I can't race in any class then!!

Thanks for the heads up mate I'll make some enquiries

Ok so plans have now gone down the sh*tter, you were right I need a Nat A license to enter in that class so as it stands there is no way I can run at Gurston unless I run it as a road car on my toad Tyres, what's the point in that!!

So after speaking with Sandy I am now looking at something further down south, possibly Castle hillclimb or St Eval sprint.
