Stdt Lower Mount

hi all

im in the middle of putting a 306 1.9dt engine in my 205stdt and the lower mount is shagged, i fancy putting a firmer mount in like a group N one,. do you know whether a 1.9 gti mount will fit in to the 306 mount bracket. rAre they a standard size

Its the same size bush for any XU engine.

where is the best place to buy a group mount, ive heard that somebody called miles on here sells them, how would i get hold of him

a group n one will vibrate a lot on a diesel thoe.

may be best to go with just a new pug one.

You could get one of the fast road lower mounts from Miles or www.BakerBM.com which aren't as harsh as the proper group N mounts or I think there are some mounts for a 2.0 turbo petrol engine which are solid but softer still while strill being uprated from the original bush.

il try and fing out about the fast road mounts, because that sounds like it could be a happy medium
