No, mate, no use at all, a total rip off (like the resistor mods and any kind of "chipped" ecu or throttle body) There isn't really any cheap way to get above stock power from these engines on standard injection. That said, most cars are probably not making stock power any more. Unless you have a freshly rebuilt engine which has been properly set up by someone who ACTUALLY knows what they're doing, the best way to increase the power you have is to refresh everything - it's amazing how much you can lose with a badly set up injection and tired engine.

Batfink

i had a customer in dubai with a more substantial version of these electronic superchargers. I calculated it was actually causing his car to run underpowered as it could not flow enough air for his virtually standard 106 gti on uprated camshafts.

This is my favourite bit...

Universal fit, will fit ANY petrol or diesel car

Universal fit (please ensure this item will fit before purchase)

I'm surprised they don't have more disclaimers...

Proven to add 3-5 BHP to any car (no increase in BHP is guaranteed)

Will reduce fuel consumption through increased efficiency (product may increase fuel consumption)

Everything we state is scientifically proven (it's all lies)

Major car manufacturers are actually using this technology now (they aren't, but it sounds good)

The OP 'SteGTI6' has admitted in his/her thread about fitting a Hyabusa engine to a 205 that his/her mate is on a Nova forum.

Ste also said (in the other thread) that they wanted to see which forum was better.

Now we have this link with a seemingly serious question about the most ridiculous piece of tuning hardware known to man.

On its own, this little lot ^^^ says what we're dealing with here. It could also perhaps be a serious bit of trolling.

Go buy one Ste, no f*ck it by 3, and Sellotape them together to get a nearly guaranteed 15bhp. Whack on 6 resistors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator wound up to 19bar, stick in some blue neon side lights and I'm absolutely positive you'll 'own' your Nova mates.

P.S. This forum is much better.

The sort of response(s) I expected TBH.

P.S. I never said you'd ever installed a 'Busa engine if you actually read what I wrote.

On a serious note, why don't you actually get one of those eGay turbo-super chargers and fit it?

It's Battenburg withdrawl symptoms. Either that or he's got some stains on his pink trousers that he can't get rid of, and it's made him grumpy

He's like another SurGie, but worse!

Ahem, anyway.. this kind of thing will never work. Its like the "vortex" silencers that are supposed to reduce back pressure by spinning the gases.

You don't get something for nothing, it takes energy to spin those blades round and spin the airflow, and guess where that energy comes from? I can absolutely 100 million percent guarantee that fitting one of these will neither increase fuel economy or increase power!
