Quick Q On R1 Carbs

Hi there, I offloaded my Son today on Granny so I thought I would finish off the last few niggles.

 

When I came to start the car, it did not want to go, when it did I noticed that there is fuel coming out of the air corrector on pot four.

 

What do you think would cause it?

 

I have limited time as I have to go get the boy and wife soon so it will mean no more playing!

Float height needs adjusting, float needle jet has dirt, floats are punctured.

Thanks, I think it was a stuck float, I wipped the carbs off and took off the tops and bottoms, cleaned them up and put em back together and it ran. I have further issues with the carbs now though!

 

I think they are all out of tune and messed up. but I dont know where to start with repairing them!

First job is balance them after that, you can tune them for mixture. I recommend a dynojet kit, but they are expensive and it can be done without it if you go to a centre than has R1 jets available.
