Shedlight Pattern Incorrect

My 205 has just failed it's MOT due to:

 

Near Side Shedlight pattern incorrect

 

with the comment:

 

Slight movement to N/S headlight unit.

 

What the hell does that mean, there's no mention of the beam being too high or low, just the pattern isn't right? - the MOT blokey said it could be the bulb or a faulty light unit - huh?!

Check the bulb is not in upside down.

Cool. Sounds easy to fix; easier than the CV joint gaiter that's also gone! Thanks for the quick response.

Strange, the bulb is in the right way (same as the other side) and it doesn't look like it's damaged. What else could it be?

Don't know, how can I tell? One thing that occurred to me though was that the bulb holder has four holes, there are two either side about 5mm apart, I wonder if the screws holding it to the light unit were in the wrong holes, so it is rotated say 15 degrees?
