Xu9d Into 205 1.6

Hi, my bottom end cracked, i was thinking in using the bottom end from a xu9d or td with the crank, pistons flywheel from my 1.6....will it work properly, do i have to make any changes????

 

does anyone have already done this??

I dont think that can work because the xud engine has a cast iron block,and the liners ar part of it eg.not the same as the 1.6 xu5 which has wet liners.

Also the cast iron block is approx 15mm taller than the alloy one so your compression would end up very crappy if you were to move over the pistons and rods

just use the xud (td) straight fit and faster than 1.6
