Ma Gearbox Linkage Rods Modification (+)

I've upgraded myself the longest rod (the one which runs from the gear stick to the connection bracket) with rose jointed ends. Once I put everything back I found that my gear stick was offset. It is leaned to the dash board now. I have to move the stick to far ahead to get my 1st and 2nd gears engaged while 3rd and 4th are engaged by very short motion. I guess I made my rod either too long or too short:)) could anyone smarter then I tell me either I have to shorten the rod or make it longer to have my gear stick in center and have the same throw for 1-2-3-4 gears?

If its setup the same way as a BE3 linkage you have to lengthen the rod...
