Come on now, that's a bit unwelcoming :(

Nothing wrong with new members going on a posting frenzy as long as they are legitimate posts. It's the ones who spam up a load of crap 'till they get to the 30 post limit and next thing they've got their 205 for sale :) that are a pain in the ass.

As for the question, I'm a soft southerner so no idea :D

The closest person to you in Burnley that I know of is probably Wayne at Chipwisards in Milnrow but what ecu are you planning to use?

He can do most makes of ecu but depending on which one you are going to use might mean its better to travel a bit furter for someone who specialises in that one.

Graham.

WGT Auto Developments in Chesire, not too far from you.

They are good, they have a hub dyno, very effective.

Specialises in Rotary but I have heard they can put their hands to anything.

It doesnt at the moment!

I have it in bits again, but it seems ok when I am not pulling something apart! I have not had it set up yet, but when I do it will go to Minimaster.

I think holeshot racing still have facilities in Bradford, they are experts in Bike engined cars setup/bike carb setup on cars so may be able to help.

They are now mainly based in Northern Ireland, dont know how feasible that would be for you from the NW?

this is where my MI is going with Omex and carbs. Mark, do you have software and connecting lead for Omex. Mine has a MI16 map with a very similar spec to mine but using a 32 tooth cog. I'm sure if I could just change the tooth setting to the 60 odd setting it would work enough on mine to get it to Mikeanics to set it up properly!

Ade,

I flogged it all mate. The cable is just a common cable. Not sure what you call them you will know as soon as you look at the ecu. All the manuals are downloadable from the omex site Clicky . I would guess that all you will need to change, as you say, is to put it to 60-2 setting. Omex will supply you, via emal, a base map should you need one. I managed to download the latest computer program from there site when I did mine on the advice of omex but cant see it on their site at the min. :(

chuck it on USB stick for the next meeting, the cable youre referring to is a serial cable.

I think he can do other management system mapping, iirc Sean Mckeown took his car there when it was temporarily on KMS or one of the other systems he tried on his car.

Mike mapped my old 205 and made a right arse of it. :D

Decent enough chap, but he didn't do a good job on mine at all and left me with an undrivable car so I wouldn't recommend him. I've heard good things about Wayne at Chipwizards though.

I'm not far from you sat, over in Barrowford but no longer in a 205 (for now :))
