Hi all any body fitted this to thier 205 Ive bought all the bits in need jsu wondering if there are any pics of the mounting under dash around?

 

The system ive got is from a corsa.

its actually very easy to fit to any model, the corsa b stuff is best if for track/race as its just under 2kg lighter than corsa c.

 

corsa b (92-00) although only fitted from about 98 onwards

corsa c (01-06)

 

there a lot of people selling knackered gear though so if you can afford/want to best buy a car with it fitted so you can test it, then break car and end up with the bits you need free. Thats what i do.

 

The steering does stiff one way, that the main fault, there no repair kit from vxl but there are a few companies that repair these now.

The system ive got is from a corsa.

2 of my mates have fitted late corsa B elec columns about 3 years ago in their Mi engined 205 rally cars, combined with quick racks there a massive improvment. The ecu was supplied by Harry Hockly, he modifys them and installs an adjustable reostat to adjust how much power assist u want.
