Peugeot 205 8v Head Gasket Blueprint

Good Day All.

 

As the tile says I am looking for a blueprint for a 205 8v head gasket.

 

Well the data I am really after is for the bores (fire rings).

 

I know that the cly bores are 83mm, so I am guessing that the fire ring bores will also be 83mm.

 

If anyone has any info on the head gaskets can you let me know.

 

If not does anyone have a new head gasket that they might be able to take a picture of or scan, if possible with a steel rule next to it.

I think the fire ring bores are usually 84mm

 

I think I have an old one somewhere, will dig it out and check.

In the mean time I have been thinking about e-mail a few of the firms that make OE head gaskets for the 205.

 

The only firm I am recall from memory is "Corteco", but they are unwilling to give me the required info.

 

If you know of any others please let me know so I can try e-mailing them, I know it's very unliky that anyone will giving me the info I am after.

Bore spacing is 93mm if I recall correct.

Head gasket bore is usually 0.5-1mm larger than the cylinder bore in case of piston protruding above cylinder at TDC.

 

The most important and probably hardest dimention to get correct is the position of the locating dowel holes relative to each others and to the cylinder bores.

 

All the other stuff I think is quite straight forward.
