Which Map Sensor For Gti6?

There seem to be 2 different part numbers for the MAP sensor for the later GTI6 listed on servicebox.

 

I'm not sure which version my engine is so is there any easy way of telling or are the sensors effectively the same?

 

The ECU is the same isn't it accross all models so surely the sensor would be the same as well?

Just a different plug on them, early type is normal JPT type you find on the rest of the sensors etc, later is the Magnetti superseal type.
