205/50/15 Tyres On A 15" Gti Wheel?

As title says, would 205/50/15 tyres go OK on a Pug 15" alloy?

yes, they will rub something chronic if its on a 205 though.

Yes its on my gti, which has been lowered.

Oh well, I'll keep a look out for some 195s then.

Some nice looking used Dunlop semi-slicks on ebay I quite fancied.

How low? i had bad rubbing on 7'' wide tsw rims with 195/45s, it wore the plastic arch down!! i think that was 60mm lower tho.....

Not sure really. Its higher than when I got it!
