Nice Yellow Billies

Sorry, this is probably a really silly question, but is the blue gaiter on the top of these just for shipping protection and need to come off before fitting or does it stay on to stop stuff going in?

Stays on when built up, just like the dust covers on the standard shocks.

Well, the shocks that are on there don't appear to have any dust cover, hence why I asked the question:

Mind you, these were fitted by Just GTIs when I bought the car :(

And they were brand new - I got Just GTIs to fit them just after I bought the car, when I knew nothing about 205s (you might say I don't much now, but I'm learning) and even less about Just GTIs.

So, does the bump stop come with the new damper or do I need to get one (or two, haven't looked at the other side yet!)?

pretty sure your new yellow bilsteins have a built in bumpstop so you dont need to put one on mate.

Miles

if they are the Group N then they are the upside down damper's and don;t need a stop, the instructions should say this in the box
