Gearbox Compatability

I've just had a quick search but cant find anything, but i was wondering how different the ratio's are on a 106 quiksilver 1.4 gearbox are to the XS, as my XS box is starting to give up the ghost.

And a free quiksilver box has come availiable, can anyone recommend somewhere to have my XS box reconditioned by any chance?
