Bad Idle/ Cutting Out

Hi,

 

My 205 wont idle very well, without holding the revs it just splutters and dies, where would be my first port of call?

 

It looks like the AFM has been replaced with one from a scrap yard (has yellow writing on it)

 

where do i start to look?

 

I have also noticed when the car cuts out the fuel pump doesnt turn off, once i disconnect the battery and reconnect it its no longer running, any idea?

without looking further into it, I would guess at ECU temp sender (blue plug on thermo housing) / AFM / SAD

i'd go for the CTS. which is the blue plug as said on the thermostat housing which sits on the right of the engine as you look at it.
