Angle Of Arb Tab On Strut Leg?

What is the standard angle for the tab on the strut leg that the top of the ARB drop link bolts to?

 

With the wheels straight ahead does it go perpendicular in towards the centre of the car?

 

Just wondering as I have 306 GTi6 struts fitted and the tabs come off at the wrong angle meaning on full lock the tabs foul the ARB links which is an MOT fail at the end of next month, so I need to grind the location tabs off and twist them round a bit.

Just had a look on mine and the tab is parallel to the wheel, ie. it comes out the back of the strut at a right angle.

 

On the same plane as the door.
