Polybushing And 1.9 Rear Beam

Recommended Posts

Guest Kit

I've got a 205 with drums, the rear suspension bushes are worn out and I was wondering if it was a diy job to install poly bushes or do they have to me machine pressed in?

Second, is there a difference between a normal beam and the 1.9 except the fact a 1.9 has discs?

Thanks

:P

the hardest part is removing the old bushes

but i've rebuilt so many beams i can do it in about 20 mins :P

if you fit polybushes and hammer them in, just be careful the internal hole doesn't close up. otherwise you'll need to file the hole to get the bolt through

if you've got a 205 less than a 1.6 gti, the torsion bars will be a smaller size, as will the a.r.b (if it has one)
