How To ? - Clutch Cable At The Pedal End

Recommended Posts

How do you get the white clip onto the clutch pedal ?

I've had my head under there but can't seem to get it to clip on at all.

It isn't connected clutch arm end so is very loose

Best to take the pedal out imo hooking it over in place & pressing the pedal to full seat it home can damage the clip causing them to snap.

its a bollocks of a job unless you take the clutch pedal off, I learnt the hard way trying to shortcut the job and snapped the white clip on a genuine £25 pug cable while doing my it on my xs!

take the pedal off = "simples!" :)

Thanks for the answers lads, I unbolted the pedal and did it as you said, was alot easier.

Though one thing I would say to anyone needing to do it in the future. Unbolt the pedal but try and hold the pedal in place, you can then tilt the pedal to get the white clip on, no need to pull the whole pedal off which means your pedal spring stays in situ
