Rad Fan Not Coming On

Took my 405 le mans for an mot

It overheated while doing the emmisions test

A guy who hasn't even seen it says the head gasket has gone and that's why the fan never kicked in

Is this true? There's no oil in the water or water in the oil

more like the bitron sensor, control box, or relays, are faulty.
