Lucas Sport Coil?

Ive been given a new Gold in colour 'Lucas Sport' coil in a box of 205 goodies, and would like to know if they are suitable/anygood?

 

From googling I found some stuff related to mini's. These coils are suppost to give a stronger spark etc.. Which is all well and good, but I did read some stuff saying they are not suitable for some ignition systems which propmted me to ask you guys if they are suitable for 205's, any experiances good or bad etc...

From my Mini days they work well with a points and condensor, they do not work well with electronic ignition/ignition amps.
