306 Turbo Gearbox Into 205...

I have just finished putting in a 306 derv turbo gearbox into my 205, and it will not select 5th or reverse! The smaller (removable) arm only moves in one direction, where as the original gearbox moves in both directions. Is this a gearbox issue or do these boxes work differently?

 

When installed, I did need to change the length of one of the gear rod to bring the gear stick back central.

Did you remove it? And if so did you let the shaft drop while it was removed?

I guess it did, didnt change it myself. I've not fixed it once I realise that could happen!

 

All fixed now.
