Lowering The Rear On My 1.4 Xs

Hi all, Ive got a 1.4 Xs and I want to have the back lowered 1 notch (I think) to match the front springs (-30mm)

 

Anyone able to help (come and do it!!) for me?? I will pay and supply tea/coffee etc!! Im in west sussex (bn17)

Lowering the rear beams by 'notches' is the bodge way of doing it, you'll need to use someone who withdraws the torsion bars and uses the dummy shock method (The proper way!)

 

There are quite a few members in the West Sussex area that may be able to help you though :wub:

have the tb's been out before? if so and you could get it to me i dont mind helping out.

 

wont be for a couple of weeks though as i work dodgy shifts

As said you could be in for trouble and hours & hours of works without the right tool's if it's never been apart which on a XS I doubt it has

Im not sure if they have been out or not, There is nothing in the service history relating to the tb's so Im guessing they havent.
