[engine_work] Peugeot 205 Mi16 Turbo

Hello his is my second project on this site.

 

the car is a 205gti from 1989.

The enginen is a 1,9 Mi16 whit 205gti JA pistons and rods for lower compresion.

the cylinderhead is ported.

The mainifoild is home made.

The turbo is a KKK K27 volvo truck turbocharger

The fuel system is from apollo13 :ph34r:

 

I is from Sweden so my english isn´t very good.

why not fix to the inlet manifold in a second bank of injectors....surely a better way?

not handier to just use bigger injectors on the main fuel rail? Seems a bit overkill to have 4 extra injectors into the inlet pipe.

I believe using 8 injectors allows the duration to be longer on the first set, giving a better vaporisation and mix at lower rpm/power

its fuel injektors. I run the enigen on orginal fuel system. Turbo fueler runs the extra injectors.

Wow this is going to be a bit of a monster when its done.

 

I've always wanted to do a turbo 16v, So I'll be watching your progress with interest. :(

 

I Like the way you've made that plelum too. looks nice and neat.
