307 Hdi 2.0 Disks And Pads

Recommended Posts

flipperthebushkangaroo

As per the title, how much would i have to pay and where do you suggest i get them from as i got an advisory for the "front disks lipped/pitted" on the MOT ( on the 307) and Peugeot want £207.21 fitted (plus £68.19 for pads).

Perhaps I'm a tightfisted git but that sounds a lot of money for a reasonably small job.

Also while I'm on a roll do i need any special tools to do this? (time for a 307 Haynes manual me thinks :))

Thanks as ever for your advice.

Roddie

Front discs and pads really is a piss ball job, I can do both sides in less than 1/2 hour with my air tools, mintex discs and pads at £60 sounds a good price to me, the only special tool I can think you MAY need are some torx bits if the screws retaining the discs are torx.
