Tacho, Bypassing Capasitor And Resistor

Recommended Posts

Daviewonder

Hi All,

I had a bit of spare time tonight so I thought Id have a go at soldering in a bypass wire into my tacho so it can run off the ecu on my 2.0 turbo conversion (when I get it running). Trouble is when I stripped it down the PCB look quite a lot busier than the one pictured on some of the threads on here. My 205 is a phase 2 model so Im wondering if I can still do this mod to it?

I take it your tacho pcb is the second pic. Can you post up pics of both sides of the pcb. The one above is a bit blurred.

Your tacho PCB looks like the later type and does not need any modifications. Just try it as it is first.
