I run a KMS ECU and an M+W ignition amp on my gti6 205.

 

After a trip into the gravel the other weekend the car now will not start.

 

The engine has been out and put back in since then and now we are left with this same non starting.

 

I have very limited knoweldege of electrics and my mechanic is away on holiday so Im left to try and fix this myself.

 

The car turn over no probs but never even thinks about starting.

 

First prob i have found is that i think i only have 4 vots at the plug for the coil pack, I take it this fed from IGN amp?

 

 

Any ideas of that wto check guys?

I'd check the voltage you have at a series of points along the circuit starting at the battery then the fusebox, ignition switch etc, really does depend how its been wired up though.

its been totally re wired.

 

it runs and extra fuel pump isnide with a relay and i can hear the relay clciking and cutting the pump on and off too.

 

i have no idea where to start lol

 

loks like Ill be missing Knockhill on sunday!
